Do you really want a textbook?

Students nowadays have at their reach a broad variety of digital and print resources that allow a more individual and personalized learning experience. This possibility have created a breach from the traditional textbooks that for centuries have been an elemental part of the curriculum and of the teaching practice. In their struggle for survival, editors have created several strategies, mainly, migrate them to an electronic format. This article presents pros and cons of textbooks against the possibilities digital resources provide the students.
