Through several years, the study of pre-Columbian calendars has not been a main target, namely about astronomical, historical, war and/or agricultural implications. Therefore, the aim of this brief article deals with the Mixtec calendar according with the Selden Codex, in association with some celestial bodies ―the Moon and Venus among them― and their symbolical influence upon political pre-Columbian events.
