Alonso Zavala Núñez
This year, in November, has taken a special place in the national calendar, and this is because of their chosen weeks to make room for the popularization of science; coexistence between scientists, students and institutions involved in the creation of technology.
Known as National Week of Science and Technology, SNCyT, and developed by the National Council for Science and Technology, Conacyt, is an annual event with different cedes throughout the republic that emerged in 1994 from the American Alliance for Understanding public Science and Technology. It involves the National Science Foundation of USA (NSF), the Ministry of Industry of Canada and the National Council of Science and Technology (CONACYT) of Mexico. In 1995, the National Commission for Scientific and Technological Research (CONICYT) of Chile joined this cooperative effort.
