ABSTRACT
The present article has the main purpose of enhance the importance of the appearance of the open access repositories to give the user the best user experience in an easy and more efficient manner when looking for the information they need. The document consist of three main sections: The first treats the limitation of the tools of the collection administration software from a graphic perspective. Secondly, it discusses the latest tendencies to be considered in the graphic design field. The third and last section briefly presents the impact that the graphic interface of the repositories has on the user experience, landing the theoretical and methodological approaches.
