Complex Behavior Assignment to VRML Virtual Worlds using C++. Keyword : Behavior, VRML, C++, Virtual Reality, EasyVRML , .
The animation of VRML virtual worlds is made by passing events through nodes within the virtual world. This animation has the disadvantage of being fixed and predefined, we can't make changes to it at runtime. Complex animations can be made by means the use of VRML scripts. These scripts contain programs written in another programming language. Nevertheless, the process of programming and integrate the script to the virtual world is not an easy task for the user. In this work we describe the definition, design and implementation of schemes for the assignation of behavior written in C++ to VRML worlds. Also, we present an implementation of the schemes inside the EasyVRML tool. This tool allows to assign complex behavior written in C++ to VRML worlds. |
