La zarzamora: un delicado tesoro del campo mexicano

Mexico is among the top blackberry producers in the world, and these fruits are one of the most demanded by foreign markets. However, their short shelf life and the special conditions required for their conservation are challenging for commercialization in distant parts of the world. Nowadays, efforts have been focused on postharvest handling to preserve the blackberry features for a longer time; however, these methods have limitations. Therefore, this article aims to present a preharvest treatment as an option for the successful commercialization of blackberries worldwide.
