Keywords:
COVID-19, vaccination, adjuvants, SARS-CoV-2, immune responseAbstract
During this COVID-19 pandemic, we have been flooded with information about viruses and vaccines; however, we must be careful with what we listen to, because the information can be misinterpreted, we can doubt if it is reliable, or we can even transmit it in the wrong way. For this reason, in the following lines we will tell you a little about the history of vaccination, the process of developing vaccines, as well as some concepts of interest such as adjuvants and adverse reactions. Lastly, we will briefly review SARS-CoV-2 vaccines and their importance.
