Nutrition’s worst kept secret: a comprehensive view of obesity problem

One of the problems most commonly associated with obesity is metabolic disturbances. However, these are the result of constant and prolonged exposure to the low-grade inflammation caused by obesity. Does this inflammation only cause problems at the metabolic level? How does the inflammation of an obese individual affect his or her brain? This article aims to address these questions and to reflect with the lector on the complexity of the modern environment and obesity, as well as to provide advice on how to control it.
