French holds the second position as the most studied foreign language in Mexico, following English, encompassing all educational levels and ages. Despite the perceived similarity with Spanish, its pronunciation remains a challenge for learners. This article outlines the linguistic peculiarities of French that hinder its pronunciation for Spanish speakers. Subsequently, the mobile application GraFon is introduced, situated within the realm of language learning through mobile devices. This innovative tool fosters grapho-phonological awareness through an intricate exploration of French orthography and a diverse collection of purpose-designed games. Thus, the article underscores how GraFon addresses the intricacies of French pronunciation, offering an interactive and educational solution for students.
