Abstract

The video tells the story of Andrés, a journalist who gradually realizes that he suffers from a mental imbalance, although he has information at his disposal, he discovers that he is part of the workers who have burnout syndrome. Within the narrative, Andrés meets different characters who provide him with information, guidance and help him live his process. The objective of the audiovisual is to lead the viewer to identify the physical and emotional characteristics of burnout syndrome. In addition to disseminating the international and national vision on the topic of occupational mental health, this also includes delving into the topic of prevention through different recommendations. The story incorporates the factors, risks, and causes that can cause a person to have excessive stress, as well as burnout. Finally, the fundamental role of the worker-institution-employer triad is emphasized, in which each one has a framework of action to protect, promote, and improve the working conditions of employees. It should be noted that all content is based on the perspective in which workers have the right to work in a healthy and safe environment, in which they can perform and develop professionally.
