The evolution of the sexuality concept as a moral precept
Keywords:
moral precept, sexuality, evolution, sexual diversity, comparative biologyAbstract
The sexual conduct has amazed the human being, and the clearest evidence is the big amount of works about it. The information that has been generated over this subject has both biological and cultural information. Some of those works have described it with the purpose of finding its origin, function and diversity, while others attempt to classify, judge and even strait it up. Thanks to this sort of work legacies, we can also realize how sexuality has been directly involved in culture, and this one, at the same time, has been modified for philosophical, economical and political reasons. Some the oldest registers about the control of this conduct date back to the Ancient Greece and reveal how the sexual conduct has been institutionalized to maintain a strict control that remains in our days.
