The Admission Support Program, a coadjutant strategy for academic success in the National Autonomous University of Mexico

The purpose of the “Programa de Apoyo al Ingreso del Sistema Universidad Abierta y Educación a Distancia” (SUAyED) from the National Autonomous University of Mexico (UNAM) is to provide a full and proper formative experience that supports the insertion of applicants to the open or distance education mode through the appropriation of knowledge, skills, tools and basic supports that are necessary in university life. This article presents the characteristics of the program, as well as the preliminary results of its appliance in September-October 2017.
