Abstract

Climate change and its consequences have been materializing in an increasingly evident way in the daily life of human beings, however, other living beings such as insects are also being seriously affected. The effects caused by climate change, such as the increase in air and ocean temperatures, directly influence their population dynamics, their rate of reproduction and their very existence, these alterations initiate a chain reaction that devastates other living beings and the fifth highest mountain in Mexico, La Malinche, is an example of this with the attack of the bark beetle (Dendroctonus mexicanus).
