Abstract

“And how does it feel? How did you do it?” These are common questions our family and friends ask when they find out we’ve been accepted into UNAM. Receiving this news, after all the uncertainty, is overwhelming. After all the effort, there’s such a sense of relief. The immediate question that follows is: What now? Then comes the stage of assimilation and preparation until the day finally arrives to begin this adventure. That initial question answers itself as we start experiencing the incredible journey of being a student at the greatest university in the nation.

Author Biography

Monserrat Mendoza Plata, Universidad Nacional Autónoma de México

Estudiante de arquitectura en el Taller Luis Barragán. Se ha dado a la tarea de, a la par de continuar con su desarrollo escolar, analizar un poco más a fondo la arquitectura con la que diariamente convivimos. Es así que logra transformar el análisis en un bosquejo con tonos azules. Incluso ha llevado a otros países su ejercicio de análisis, ampliando aún más el contexto y el objeto de estudio. También ha desarrollado y colaborado activamente en distintos proyectos de arquitectura y diseño en diferentes ámbitos desde el 2014.
