The light we all know (and love) —whether in the sunlight we enjoy on our faces each chilly morning, the beam from a flashlight that helps us find our way through a dark night, or split into all its colors when a rainbow appears in the sky— that light has a use as a weapon against cancer. It is a key component of photodynamic therapy. What is this therapy and how can it make it possible? Read on and find out.
