This issue of the Digital University Magazine (rdu) offers a diverse and deep overview of different problems, alternatives and possibilities in crucial areas of social and natural life. The purpose of the works presented is to share knowledge about the interactions between human activities that support the economic and political model, the adaptive responses of living beings, changes in ecosystems and the dynamics of natural cycles. Comprehensively understanding these interactions is essential to imagine actions that promote a better balance between the natural and social spheres.
