Climate change has already caught up with us, as the latest report from the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (the famous IPCC) undoubtedly shows. We are experiencing an undeniable increase in global temperature due to the constant emission of greenhouse gases linked to human activities. Along with this are changes in precipitation, climatic extremes (such as droughts, floods, and hurricanes), and seasonality within the year. The impacts that this brings and will bring are many, but with it also come opportunities to generate a new way of relating to nature and our world. In this special issue of the Revista Digital Universitaria, we address the topic of modern climate change from many perspectives.
